My Story

Food has always been a big part of my life and a huge part of my travels. I love to cook and I love to eat and I love to share my love of cooking with others. I love learning about the food of different countries and regions and I run cooking classes at home to teach people the dishes I have learned to cook while travelling.

I have travelled extensively through Asia, from the tropical heat of Thailand and South East Asia, to the heights of Tibet and Nepal. My journeys have taken me to some 16 countries so far, scores of cities and hundreds of towns and villages. I love visiting new and far off places, meeting new people and having awesome new cultural experiences.

My Philosophy

My tours take you on extraordinary culinary journeys around the world. Every hotel, cooking class, street food stall, in fact every detail, has been handpicked and has been tried, tested, and tasted by me. I incorporate village homestays in the tours where you get to immerse yourself into a new cultural experience and live like a local for a while.

I also encourage ethical, responsible, and sustainable travel and support cultural awareness (learn more). I host every tour and am always around to support my fellow travellers, however, each tour is led by experienced local guides. I only use local chefs for cooking classes and we support local cafes, restaurants and businesses. These locals are in the know, experts in their countries history, culture and of course their cuisine.

My current tours to Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos feature exciting street food tours, cooking classes, homestays and the best food experiences each country has to offer.
